Angelus installed 65,000 sq ft of Prosoco Air Barrier helping this project to obtain a LEED's Platinum rating. The San Ysidro Land Port of Entry Phase 1B project at the world’s busiest land port is now a model “Port of the Future.”
It has achieved new standards in efficiency, security, aesthetics, and sustainability. It is the first government-owned facility to achieve LEED Platinum, NetZero Energy, and NetZero Water certifications.

Scope of work:
The new Tom Bradley International Terminal B expansion at LAX was built from the ground up, starting with modern air barriers installed by Angelus.
Some of the concrete walls developed hairline cracks, so we were called in to repair these issues using epoxy injection and other structural strengthening techniques.

The new $1.6 Billion-dollar American Airlines terminal at LAX is well under way. With many weather events and detail changes has not delayed our construction schedule. AA T-4 terminal has been a challenging but rewarding project for the 22 men out there working hard to beat the rains.
We had been installing a bunch of Sika Sarnafil out at LAX all year when they asked if we could install Solartube lighting since they are going for a LEED's (Silver) rating. We contributed LEED points by installing Sika's Solar Reflectance PVC Single-Ply Roof Membrane and then the Solartube Efficient Lighting System.

As the PDX terminal expansion work continues with their "walk in the forest" outdoor theme, Angelus was tasked with re-sealing the existing windows and skylights, requiring repairs to the frames and glazing.

Scope of work:
Angelus installed an airtight envelope for this building using Henry's Blueskin and 17MR for the air barrier, Kemper's 2K PUR PMMA system and Soprema's Alsan 230 flash and Alsan RS 276 system. This was a very unique design to tie in these three manufactures to ensure a moisture and vapor tight building to provide comfort and protection.
