Air and Vapor Barriers

Air Barriers are used to seal the entire building envelope and provide better protection from moisture intrusion than vapor barriers. They are permeable so that while moisture is prevented from entering the structure, it can evaporate from the interior. To create a continuous air barrier, Angelus applies either sheet materials or sprayed liquid to seal all breaks and joints. These barriers are very effective in increasing thermal efficiency.
