Scope of work:
The Headwaters project replaced the existing Silverlake reservoirs with two underground reservoirs with storage capacities of 54 million gallons and 56 million gallons, covered with two to three feet of soil and native vegetation. It includes natural wetlands by the Army Corps of Engineers, which provides open areas for hiking, horse riding, cycling and pedestrians. The tanks developed multiple hairline cracks. Angelus employed epoxy injection to correct the issue.

Gas Company Tower

This fifty-two-story building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). SOM is one of the world’s leading architectural firms and creator of the Sears Tower in Chicago and the Lever House in New York.
The Gas Company Tower rises in a series of cliff-like setbacks and inverted corners, with an elliptical top of blue glass symbolizing the trademark blue gas flame of the building’s primary tenant and joint venture partner, Southern California Gas Company.
West Haven Reservoir

The rehabilitation consisted of a 10 million gallon reservoir, and included repairs, construction of a seismic curb, roof waterproofing, and the addition of a fall protection system for the reservoir. Site specific improvements included asphalt and concrete work, sump vault lids and hatches, and other restoration tasks.
Magnolia Reservoir

This reservoir in Orange County below the Magnolia Park Tennis Courts was in desperate need of restoration both inside the tank as well as the exterior. The finishing touch was the application of Sika 720, 715, and 736AL pedestrian traffic coatings for the playing surface.
Parking Lot Above City Reservoir
El Segundo, CA

The El Segundo Parking Lot above the City Reservoir was in desperate need of concrete repairs and waterproofing. After completing the concrete repairs and repairing the expansion joints, we installed Sikalastic 720 One Shot wall and traffic coatings.
