SCOPE OF WORK:

• Replaced all exterior sealant with BASF Sonolastic 150 sealant
• Applied BASF Thorocoat to the entire building exterior

BENEFITS TO OWNER:

The building was experiencing water intrusion from the building facade. The existing joint sealant and waterproofing was failing and water was entering the building. The owner contracted with Angelus to solve these problems.

By utilizing the Sonnelastic 150 joint sealant, a premium, low modulus, silyl terminated, polyether sealant, and the Thorocoat wall coating, a 100% solids, high build acrylic wall coating system which waterproofs the building while allowing the building facade to breathe, Angelus was able to solve the water intrusion problems for the building owners.

Upon completion, the building was leak free, and the owners were pleased with the aesthetics of the new coating system.
